What's All This Then!

Well read on dear friends and find out. First of all I can tell you this is no corporate nonsense, My name is Rik Vallis and I am a fairly normal guy.
I started this site as a way of keeping and getting in contact with my old friends and family. As I come from England but live in China it was getting difficult to keep in touch with all those I love.

However when I started the site with just a blog page, it occurred to me it could be so, so much more, and I could share with the WORLD some of thoughts and stories, now I have been known to be a little bit opinionated about certain things, ranting and raving, but still if god didn't want us to think for ourselves he wouldn't have given us brains now would he. Of course everything in the site is 'only one man's opinion' and is hopefully taken light heartedly, bringing a smile or smirk to the readers face.

My daily life and messages to friends and family are on the home page (archives) and some fun can be found on rant's and raves. As well as things I once felt were cool or desirable on dolce vita. Photos is just that a group of photos of my life, some funny and some not...lol.. And Links will take you to cool places I have found on the web.
